Quakerdale Business Services often works closely with Josiah White's Quakerdale Foundation. Sometimes we are able to help with special tasks. This past Christmas season was a perfect example! In December we were able to donate several strollers, car seats, kids' toys, and other baby items to Child Abuse Prevention Services. Child Abuse Prevention Services education and support services to families in Marshall County and the surrounding area. The Foundation had these items leftover from a previous program in Marshalltown. Child Abuse Prevention Services was able to give these items to families they serve for everyday use and Chistmas presents.
Quakerdale Business Services goal is to help as many people as we can in any way we can. Whether it is by working with them on their budget, repairing their funace, plowing snow, helping distribute gifts to those in need, or just talking through a problem.
There is a saying by Mother Teresa, "It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving." We want to live this out, and encourage others to do this as well. keeping in mind that gifts do not always have to mean tangible items; in many cases, time is just as important, if not more.
